Linking Research and Business Sectors
Drawing from the trans disciplinary cooperation between research and business sectors, which underpin a new role of universities in the knowledge-based society, EU supports the involvement of SMEs in research programmes.
In this light, COORP will facilitate the organisation of liaisons between researchers and business through 3 pilot cases: researchers will work with selected SMEs to set up R&D units and support SMEs participation in EU research programmes. A call for expression of interest for researchers and SMEs will be issued in early 2018.
