My academic and teaching positions cover a period of 20 years both in Albania and abroad including Fatih University and Istanbul University in Turkey, University of New York/Tirana, European University of Tirana, and currently at Canadian Institute of Technology in Tirana-Albania. Apart from teaching various research-related courses, I have held a number of managerial and administrative duties as head of English Language and Literature Department at University of New York/ Tirana, Head of Communication & Public Relations Department at European University and Director of Corporate Training and Continuing Education at Canadian Institute of Technology. A member of European Society for the Study of English (ESSE), European Association for American Studies (EAAS) and board member of the Albanian Society for the Study of English (ASSE), I have delivered and published various papers on a broad range of topics on American society, culture and literature, postmodern and postcolonial studies as well as educational and vocational training.
